I absolutely LOVE video essays, I spend all my time watching them to learn new random things. My absolute favorite channel is Horses on Youtube; they create deeply engaging and meaningful commentary videos, both in the speaking and visual aspects. This week, I'm recommending their video The Death of an Innocent. This video tells the story of Chris McCandless, a young man left home on search of a "something", and passed away in the Alaskan wilderness. It gives great philisophical insight on the human condition, and especially on why we make the choices we do. Here are more of my favorite essays by Horses:
